A: Type I Diabetes presents as acute onset of excess thirst, excess urination, and weight loss that occurs before the age of 30. Generally, a blood test for blood glucose is the best way to detect diabetes.

A: Type 1 diabetes typically presents with increased appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, weight loss, and feeling quite ill. Type 2 diabetes typically presents with vague or no symptoms at all. The manner in which diabetes is diagnosed is with blood testing. Physician visits vary widely in cost but for a new patient typically $100 or more. The blood glucose test also varies considerably from free at some physician’s offices to $100 or more for a complete panel of blood tests. I wish you the very best of health and in all things may God bless.
Q: What should I do if I’m showing signs of diabetes?
It runs on my mom’s side and my dad’s side and now suddenly im showing signs that I might be diabetic. (per say i have to pee a lot and ive been tested for bladder infections with no such lucky, i have dizzy and naseua spells, cant gain weight that easy) should i see a doctor and get tested?
I’m also constantly thirsty…it’s awkward and have had problems with my blood sugar all my life
A: well you’ve got to see a doctor and have blood works asap
Q: What are some early warning signs of diabetes?
A: Urine will increase in volume and frequency when blood glucose rises. The kidneys work to filter blood and try to rid it of the excess sugar. In fact, one of the earliest methods for diagnosing diabetes was to notice the increased sugar content of urine. If it progresses, however, frequent urination will lead to excessive water loss and dehydration, seriously jeopardizing health.
Thirst is noticably increased with high blood glucose because of water losses in urine. In addition, excess sugar concentrates the blood.Both trigger thirst.
In addition, excess sugar concentrates the blood.Both trigger thirst.
Fatique and generalized weakness is noticable for two reasons. One, glucose is unable to be effectively used as a fuel by muscle cells. They are “fuel deprived” and thus less able to perform work. Secondly, dehydration will bring on fatique.
Weight loss may be slow or rapid, but it is usually occuring without explanation. Many people with early diabetes note they are actually eating more and still losing weight. This is the result of water losses, as well as increased breakdown of fat and protein tissues, as the body compensates for poor glucose utilization.
Hunger often increases because glucose, despite being high in the blood, is unavailable to cells as fuel.
Blurred vision may develop because rapidly rising blood sugar levels can cause fluid shifts in the lens of the eye.
Infections of gums, bladder, skin and vaginal yeast can become more problematic and harder to treat. Germs thrive in the high sugar content of blood and body fluids. A woman may have recurrent urinary or vaginal infections.
Another important symptom of noninsulindependent diabetes is recurring or slow-to-heal cuts and sores.
Irritability; drowsiness, tingling or numbness in the hands and feet, or itching.
Q: I have dark spots on my neck? Doctor says is signs of diabetes?
The doctor gave me a cream but doesn’t seem to work, if anybody has gone trough this or knows anything please let me know. I’m getting married in March so i would hate to have that on my neck. I’m desperate.
A: I suspect that you must have acanthosis nigricans, which occasionally may occur in diabetes. But, it’s not always a sign of it. Some times, a cream with either salicylic acid or urea in it will help. But so will scotch tape!!! Take some tape and place it on the dark areas, and then pull the tape off, and you’ll see that the skin will become lighter.
Q: What are the early warning signs of diabetes in men or women ?
A: You never have a dry mouth and are often thirsty can be an indicator but the best early warning sign that I had was I went to the doctor and he did a routine blood test that showed that my glucose was and had been on the high side for some time. They can tell if it has been high for up to the three previous months.

Q: Are these warning signs of diabetes?
Last week, I have noticed a few odd things…
I’m always thirsy, and constantly have to go to the bathroom. I am also always tired and I’ve lost five pounds in the past few days. My mom thinks it may be anemia, because she has it, too. Could this be possible? Are these early warning signs for diabetes?
A: These can most definitely be signs of diabetes, especially if blurry vision is thrown into the mix. However, your mom may also be right about anemia, because it presents with some of the same signs and symptoms. The only way to know for sure is to go see your doctor and have him do some blood work. In between times, it might be to your benefit to go get a glucose meter and check your sugars yourself, just to see where you stand. It can help your doctor determine what to do next. Hope this helps!
Q: What are the diabetes warning signs before being diagnosed by a Doctor?
I get thirsty, in the middle of the night I have to pee and drink more water. Pain in my abdomen right side. Not appendix. Removed long ago. Then pain continues on down right side down to above the pubic bone area. Very painful!
A: Type 1 Diabetes
•Frequent urination
•Unusual thirst
•Extreme hunger
•Unusual weight loss
•Extreme fatigue and Irritability
Type 2 Diabetes*
•Any of the type 1 symptoms
•Frequent infections
•Blurred vision
•Cuts/bruises that are slow to heal
•Tingling/numbness in the hands/feet
•Recurring skin, gum, or bladder infections
But if its that painful I would go and see a doctor anyways!
Q: What are the signs of Diabetes?
My cousin has diabetes which got me thinking about certain symptoms I’ve been displaying over recent years. I have these moments when the complete left side of my body collapses in this sharp tingling pain as if something has just dropped on top of me. After a few moments it passes, but during all my muscles contract and tense. it really hurts. A friend mentioned something about diabetes, though my family has a really bad record with heart conditions as well. As it is my left side playing up, what do you think it could be? take into consideration that I’m only 18.
A: First Signs of Diabetes:
In most cases, early symptoms of diabetes are so minor that they go unnoticed or overlooked. Due to this reason, many people tend to suffer with some serious complications and find it extremely hard to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle. Some of these first signs of diabetes that appear during early stages of diabetes are listed below:
* Lifestyle changes characterized by noticeable alterations in the diet patterns such as excessive hunger and unquenchable thirst
* Unexplained weight loss even though one consumes excessive amounts of food
* Increased frequency in the occurrence of yeast or skin infections
* Frequent urination
* Behavioral changes such as fatigue, irritability and mood swings
* Finally, individuals with diabetes even suffer with eye problems like blurred vision.
Q: What are some signs of gestational diabetes?
I go for my test next week but i was wondering if there were any signs.
A: My sister had that, but she had no signs of it, it just happened and she was fine. Don’t stress about it. I did both times and the tests came back negative. Just be happy being pregnant and focus on pampering yourself before the baby comes.
Q: What are the early warning signs of diabetes?
A: Quite often, as is the case with type two diabetics (including myself)…. none.
Q: What are the Signs of Type 2 Diabetes?
I want to know what are some symtums of Type 2 diabetes or signs for 1 i know if you go the restroom continiously thats a sign.
A: * Increased thirst
* Increased hunger (especially after eating)
* Dry mouth
* Frequent urination
* Unexplained weight loss (even though you are eating and feel hungry)
* Fatigue (weak, tired feeling)
* Blurred vision
* Headaches
* Loss of consciousness (rare)
Q: What are early warning signs of diabetes?
A: Loss of weight, thirsty, need to pee often, blurred vision, fatigue, flushed hands and face. You should go to a Dr. as soon as possible if you believe you have diabetes. It is a disease that creeps up on you like death and can affect your entire organ system. You can also go blind, increase your chances of strokes and heart attacks, and it decreases your blood circulation to the point of possible amputation of limbs.
